As a Commissioning Technology Intern, we will prepare you for an exciting career, tackling one of the world’s toughest challenges of providing cleaner and more accessible energy to all. 
 
As an Intern, you will:

  • Receive technical training, mentorship, and coaching from technologists and experienced technical leaders. 
  • Grow your technical expertise in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering. 
  • Work in a multicultural environment within a multidisciplinary team supporting project execution globally in tight relationship with project management. 
  • Prepare and review execution plan of gas turbine combined cycle power plant commissioning in areas such as power train (turbomachinery) and power island (auxiliaries).

Job Description: 

  • You will report and receive directions from the Commissioning Technology team leader. 
  • You will support the Commissioning technology team in preparing various commissioning tasks of coming projects from the set-up, generating related documentation and coordination meetings with involved stakeholders. 
  • You will support with preparing Turn Over Package from Construction to Commissioning Mark-up Drawings of Power Plant Mechanical, Electrical and Control Systems 
  • You will help the Commissioning team to gather input, filter the lessons learned from past projects and to improve the commissioning checklist. 
  • To succeed in these tasks, the You will first learn about the combined cycle power plant fundamentals, then dig into the business of power plant commissioning – from the overall process to a certain level of technical details how it is executed. 

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to read and understand P&ID, wiring diagram, single line diagram, mechanical drawings, arrangement, and construction drawings, BOM and technical specifications. 
  • Computer skills in Microsoft office, especially Excel and Power Point, ideally VBA or Macro 
  • PDF markup and annotation. 
  • Fluent in English and capable to talk in a conference call or meeting
