The Programme

FSTEP is a 3+9-month intensive graduate training programme, in collaboration with Asians Banking School, designed to equip talent with the right skills and knowledge for their transition into the financial services industry.  

The first three months of the programme, trainees will join classroom training with Asian Banking School.  

The remaining nine months, trainees will be attached at respective departments with the opportunity to be absorbed as a permanent employee after the programme ends.  
 
In line with our long-term career development programme, UOB Malaysia aims to recruit and develop a team of trainees who will be groomed in our Bank.  
 
The next intake will start in October 2023.

• Commercial Banking. 
• Human Resources. 
• Technology & Operations. 
• Finance. 
• Channels & Digitalization. 
• Retail Banking (Personal Financial Services). 
• Private Banking. 
• Internal Audit. 
• Global Markets. 
• Wholesale Banking.

Required Skills and Abilities

What we look for in a UOB FSTEP Trainee:

• Bachelor's Degree in any field. 
• Fresh graduates or candidates with less than 3 years of working experience. 
• Fluency in English.
