Intern - HRBP & Talent Acquisition - Administration

We are currently seeking an Intern, HRBP & Talent Acquisition to join our team based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. 
 
Successful candidates would be employed on 6 months contract. 
 
About The Job:

  • Take leadership roles in design team setup and provide input/alignment on operational needs within department or project teams. 
  • Plan design activities and deliverables effectively for the team to meet project milestones of mhrs, cost and project schedules. 
  • Reference person for electrical design workflow/sequence. 
  • Provide technical guidance and effective navigation to address project execution challenges.

What You Will Do

Main responsibilities include, but not limited to: 

Talent Acquisition:

  • Arrange and coordinate interviews for shortlisted candidates (virtually or physically).  
  • This includes checking interviewer availability, booking of rooms and compiling candidates documents. 
  • Attend to the candidate when they are coming for a face-to-face interview. 
  • Follow up pre-employment medical report. 
  • Conduct referral check for direct hire candidates. 
  • Compiling new hire documents for onboarding and raising OW. 
  • Sending welcome email to new joiners. 
  • Arrange and coordinate first day induction (book room) and pick up new joiners from lobby. 
  • Invoice processing with regards to agency hiring. 
  • Reporting (new joiners, headcount, etc.)

HRBP:

  • Supporting the Human Resources Business Partner in delivering projects. 
  • Support the management of change process with advice, guidance and liaison with affected employees under the guidance of HRBP’s. 
  • Provide advice on people issues and coordinate with COEs to optimize efficiencies within a matrix organization. 
  • Attending day-to-day issues raised by employees.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent. 
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia. 
  • Good interpersonal and writing skills with the ability to communicate effectively. 
  • Team player and able to work independently with minimum supervision. 
  • Dynamic, attention to detail and have passion in Human Resource field.

Starting Date: Immediate.
