The Programme 

Subsea7 is currently recruiting for graduate talent to join our Commercial Graduate Development Scheme (CGDS) in our Kuala Lumpur office (MY). 
 
Subsea7 offers a 2-year rotational graduate programme, enabling graduates to gain experience of Subsea7's key commercial departments which are Supply Chain Management (SCM), Tendering and Cost Control. 
   
The home department for this role will be decided once training period has been completed and it is envisaged that after the 2 year of rotational training period of the programme, the graduate will be selected for a home department or will return to their specialized field.  
 
There are four main elements of the programme: 
 
On-the-job development: 
 
Through on-the-job training you will develop key capabilities related to Contracts, Project Control, Tendering and Supply Chain Management through rotations in these functions. 
 
Formal training courses: 
 
This is organized between the Global Project Centre locations in London and Paris and provides the opportunity to gain deeper insights into some key aspects related to Commercial and Project Support functions. 
 
Mentoring: 
 
You will be assigned a mentor who will provide guidance and support your progression. The mentor will maintain regular contact with you providing direction to help you achieve targets and goals. 
 
Personal development: 
 
You will participate in project tasks to challenge your presentation and team building skills. Also, network with other Subsea7 Commercial Graduates hired in different locations. 
 
During the rotation applicants will have the opportunity for short duration overseas assignment in locations ranging from Brazil, Malaysia, Australia, and others, with opportunities for future medium-term overseas assignments.  

Required Skills and Abilities 

Applications are now sought from degree qualified candidates who are holding a bachelor’s degree preferably in one of the following: 

  • Business. 
  • Management. 
  • Marketing. 
  • Law/Legal studies. 
  • Supply chain management.
  • Engineering with a related commercial subject.
