The Programme 

The Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. What You Will Do 

Job Description: 

• Work closely with the Product Managers, Software Developers and Customer Experience team to understand the features and implementation, ensuring the quality of every owned feature in each app release 
• Work with Business Product Teams and assist to develop and execute test cases based on the business requirements 
• Provide prompt updates on testing progress and clear escalation of potential risks to the UAT Project Lead 
• Provide comprehensive documentation of test cases, test results, and defect management for the required sign-offs 
• Perform duties such as handling production issues, i.e standby during the campaign period, raise JIRA tickets, discuss solutions with development team and update timely to the relevant team 

Required Skills and Abilities 

Requirements: 

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field 
• At least 1 year of experience as a software tester / QA engineer / UAT tester 
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply  
• Able to communicate in both English and Malay, both written and verbal and fluency in Mandarin is a plus to communicate with various stakeholders 
• Able to work independently or with minimal assistance 
• Highly goal-driven and able to work well in dynamic environments
