QA Tester & Product Management Specialist

The Programme

The Product Management team at Shopee is the key focal point between the business, engineering and design teams.  
 
The team is responsible for implementing strategy, road maps and features, while adhering to business goals. It covers all functions including but not limited to Financial Services, Supply Chain, Search, Recommendation, Advertising, Order, Promotion, User, Anti-Fraud, Seller Service.

What You Will Do

• Work closely with the Product Managers, Software Developers and Customer Experience team to understand the features and implementation, ensuring quality of every owned feature in each app release. 
• Work with Business Product Teams and assist in developing and executing test cases based on the business requirements. 
• Provide prompt updates on testing progress and clear escalation of potential risks to the Product Manager. 
• Provide comprehensive documentation of test cases, test results, and defect management for the required signoffs. 
• Perform ad-hoc duties such as handling production issues, i.e raise JIRA tickets and follow up with stakeholders.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field from a recognized university. 
• Preferred with at least 1 year of experience as a software tester UAT tester or entry-level product owner. 
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. 
• Able to communicate in both English and Malay, both written and verbal. 
• Able to work independently or with minimal assistance. 
• Highly goal-driven and able to work well in dynamic environments. 
• Interest in fintech, e-wallet and payment technology.
