The Programme 

The Business Development and Partnerships teams at Shopee are dynamic and energetic.  

The teams are always looking to acquire business opportunities to drive Shopee to be the No. 1 e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan.  
 
The aim of the Business Development and Partnership teams is to provide Shopee’s buyers with a wide variety of product listings at the best prices. 
 
About the Team: 
 
In the Seller Programmes Project team, you will be responsible for the planning and implementation of programmes aimed to accelerate the growth of sellers in Shopee.  
 
Proficiency in data analytics is required as it involves heavy reliance on data for decision-making and impact assessment of the programmes.  
 
In addition, project management skills are essential as the role requires you to coordinate across different stakeholders. 

What You Will Do 

  • Manage existing key seller programmes and projects, including monitoring performance and executing continuous improvements to the programmes. 
  • Able to lead new projects, including developing project plans and communicating effectively across multiple involved internal and external stakeholders to align on scope, timelines, and expectations. 
  • Establish processes and identify appropriate indicators to monitor performance and progress. 
  • Leverage data to target users more effectively to track engagement within the platform. 
  • Conduct analysis and execute projects aimed at improving overall adoption and eventually profitability of seller management programmes and projects. 
  • Produce periodic reports for management. 
  • Work closely with internal teams (e.g.: marketing, business development, business intelligence) to implement and coordinate the execution of projects.
  • Other ad-hoc tasks as needed.  

Required Skills and Abilities 

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field is required. 
  • 2-5 years of working experience in strategy/management consulting/startup/e-commerce roles are preferred.  
  • Fresh graduates with strategy/management consulting/startup/e-commerce internship experience are encouraged to apply.  
  • Structured, able to plan end-to-end execution of initiatives, and see through implementation of the initiative. 
  • Strong affinity to data, solid analytical abilities and critical thinking skills. 
  • Strong business acumen, able to generate insights and work with tight deadlines 
  • Able to prioritize tasks and cope with tight deadlines. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products & Google Suites 
  • Good team player, positive attitude, and eager to learn.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English (verbal and written communication skills).
