Campaigns Intern - Marketing

The Programme 

Our Marketing teams conceptualize and implement go-to-market activities to achieve increased usage and visibility. The Regional Marketing team is responsible for in-app campaign planning, product marketing, partnerships and content strategy to drive acquisition and engagement.  
 
The Regional Brand and Growth Marketing team covers all aspects of online and performance marketing, which involve tracking and measuring data to better reach our users.  
 
Our local marketing teams work closely with the regional teams to localize and adapt strategies to increase brand awareness and acquisition in each market.  
 
We are currently seeking interns for our Big Campaigns team and Category Campaigns team.

What You Will Do 

Big Campaigns: 

  • Support and execute Mega campaigns and other Initiative campaigns. 
  • Assist in full-cycle campaign project management, including hands-on execution, monitoring, and reporting. 
  • Prepare microsite briefs and collaborate with operations and graphic designers to develop these microsites. 
  • Coordinate with business development PICs in negotiating and managing deals and promotions. 
  • Facilitate and monitor the submission, creation, and usage of campaign vouchers. 
  • Curate and manage SKUs to support campaign mechanics and drive sales. 
  • Identify key trends and campaign mechanics that drive traffic and increase sales conversion on Shopee platforms. 
  • Collaborate and coordinate across multiple teams, including Business Development, Operations, and cross-functional
  • Marketing teams, to ensure smooth and timely execution of campaigns.
  • Real-time monitoring of campaign performance through various metrics and analysis, identifying gaps and innovating to improve subsequent campaign performance. 

Category Campaigns: 

  • Assist the campaigns planning team in developing and executing daily category campaigns for brands and sellers. 
  • Collaborate and work closely with multiple teams, including social media, business development, graphic design, and operations, to drive traffic for the campaign. 
  • Assist with campaign setup to ensure a smooth campaign launch. 
  • Support the team in gaining a deeper understanding of the market landscape, including competitors, buyers, and micro/macro-opportunities. 
  • Conduct research for upcoming campaigns to understand upcoming trends and capture the needs associated with these trends.
  • Gain exposure to data analytics by conducting campaign performance analysis to inform decision-making. 

Required Skills and Abilities 

  • Excellent command of English with strong stakeholder management skills. 
  • Highly meticulous and good at coordination, able to meet tight deadlines. 
  • Willing to be hands-on with strong project management and executional abilities. 
  • Comfortable working with numbers, analytical and sharp. 
  • Team player, driven, resilient, reliable and more importantly, someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passionate about e-commerce, tech and retail.
