Job Description: 
 
As a BP&A Analyst in the Retail & Fulfillment team, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing budgets and forecasts, conducting financial modelling, and providing valuable insights to aid in strategic decision-making specifically for the retail industry. 
 
The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of financial concepts and principles.

What You Will Do

• Perform financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and profitability analysis, to support decision-making processes. 
• Develop and maintain financial models to forecast and analyze key business metrics within the Retail & Fulfillment P&L such as revenue, expenses, and profitability. 
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, monthly/quarterly forecasts, and long-term strategic plans. 
• Collaborate with various departments in commercial and operations to gather financial data, validate assumptions, and identify areas of improvement. 
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and provide recommendations to senior management. 
• Prepare insightful and accurate financial reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate financial performance and trends. 
• Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the financial health of the organization and identify potential risks and opportunities. 
• Support the month-end and year-end close processes by reconciling accounts and analyzing financial results. 
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial planning and analysis activities. 
• Stay updated on industry trends, economic factors, and regulatory changes that may impact financial performance.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certification (CFA, CPA, etc.) is a plus. 
• Minimum 1-2 years in financial planning and analysis, preferably in an e-commerce or online retail environment. Fresh graduates with relevant educational backgrounds can be considered. 
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret complex financial data. 
• Proficient in financial modelling and forecasting techniques. 
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner. 
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills. 
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 
• Familiarity with ERP systems and business intelligence tools is desirable.
