Process Engineer - Substrate Process Engineering - Entry-Level/Fresh Graduate

The Programme

Substrate Process Engineering Team focus on monitoring and improving our KPIs which are Yield, Running Cost i.e.. Indirect Material Cost, Product Quality and Productivity to ensure our performance meet company target and meet customer satisfaction or specification.

We control our KPIV and monitor KPOV to produce good quality and provide a great and smooth working environment for everyone. 

What You Will Do

  • Be responsible for sustenance tasks - handle and solve production spike cases related to process by formulating & review process OCAPs and CAPA.
  • Review process KPIV and KPOV, act if encounter any abnormality.
  • Plan and initiate process evaluation and improvement projects such as yield and product quality improvement.
  • Ensure productivity achieves the target by reducing machine downtime via process improvement and effectively troubleshooting issues at production line.
  • Ensure IDM cost achieve set target by controlling IDM usage and initiating IDM cost improvement projects.
  • Monitor KPOVs SPC charts on a daily basis to maintain and improve process and tool capability. 

Required Skills and Abilities

About You:

  • Able to inherently understand process fundamental technical knowledge.
  • Good analytical skills, especially in process evaluation or tests and data analysis assignments.
  • Interested in initiating and implementing continuous proposed improvement activities.
  • Proficiency in the basic equipment working and engineering principles used.
  • Have excellent observational skills to identify any shift/s in current process control.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 

Your Experience Includes:

  • Major in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering, Chemistry, and/or equivalent experience.
  • Hands-on experience in Process Engineering role in OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturing) environment and engineering field.
  • Familiar in utilizing systematic troubleshooting methodology on solving line issues machine downtime, process parameter setting, and machine control system enhancement.
  • Application of statistical tools and data analysis (Control chart / 7QC Tools / 8DCAPA / 6 Sigma).
  • Good skills in using Microsoft (Excel spreadsheet, basic macro programming, PowerPoint presentation.
