About our group:

The Operations and Strategy Management (OSM) team plays a pivotal role in steering the integration of SAFe Agile and DevOps practices within the Global MES development teams, with an emerging focus on AI/ML innovations. This team lays the foundation for service management processes and champions Agile methodologies as Release Train Engineers (RTE) to embody Agile principles and values across the board. 

In addition to managing the on-premises and cloud-based development environments, the OSM team is proactive in adopting and leveraging new technologies, including DevOps CI/CD pipelines that are essential for AI/ML model deployment. 

The functions of this team thus support our company strategy for innovation and agility, by adopting technologies and processes to enable the teams to deliver effectively in the shortest, sustainable lead time.  

About the role - you will:

• Be part of a project that showcases the transformative impact of AI/ML at Seagate through the development of an external web portal.
• Contribute to the technical development and curation of content, working alongside seasoned professionals in a collaborative environment. This experience will enhance your understanding of digital content strategy and expose you to advanced AI/ML applications in manufacturing, providing you with invaluable skills and industry insights that will propel your future career in IT and manufacturing innovation.
• Assist in managing the content lifecycle, from concept through publication, aligning with our strategic vision. Your efforts will support the creation of interactive features and multimedia elements that demonstrate the capabilities of our AI/ML-driven manufacturing systems.
• Work on these varied tasks and with that, you'll build a strong set of skills that includes building websites and crafting impactful content. You will also gain firsthand experience with the latest advancements in manufacturing technology.
• This role will highlight your ability to learn and adapt, providing a solid foundation for a career that blends information technology with cutting-edge manufacturing. 

Required Skills and Abilities

• To support the project, you will need to possess a foundational understanding of web development, including familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of content management systems and basic design principles to aid in creating an engaging user experience is also desirable.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills are essential, as the role involves close collaboration with IT and AI/ML professionals.
• An eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies is crucial, as is an interest in the application of AI/ML in the manufacturing sector.
• No prior expertise in AI/ML is required, but curiosity and a willingness to understand its impact on manufacturing processes will be beneficial. 

Your experience includes:

• Web development application.
• HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
• Content Management Systems.
• Technical Writing. 

Note: This role is based on site and not remote.

Our Penang office is based in Suntech at Cybercity. Easily accessible from two bus stops, many employees take mass-transportation to work.
