Your journey with us:

• Within one month you will be learning/understanding the product and component details that you will be taking care of. 
• Within six months you will be able to visit/ travel to supplier sites to see the actual process. 
• Long term plan – Opportunity to manage the entire mechanical suppliers based in Malaysia as well project enhancement and cross functional exposure globally.

About the role - you will:

• Be working with suppliers to develop quality improvement plans and ensure their implementation. 
• Be conducting supplier audits to evaluate their quality standards and capabilities. 
• Establish quality standards for raw materials, components, and services. 
• Monitor and measure supplier performance against established quality metrics 
• Conduct quality checks to ensure that supplied parts and services meet the established quality standards. 
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that incoming materials meet the required specifications. 
• Report to the Manager based in Singapore and this role is based in Johor.

Required Skills and Abilities

About you:

• The New Grad Hire role is open for Fresh Graduates in Mechanical Engineering or related field or Graduates within 1 year from Degree completion date with less than 1 year of relevant working experience. 
• Willingness and Dedications on responsibilities and organization. 
• Flexibility and able to travel for work to Suppliers' site within Malaysia.

Technical Skills:

• Familiarity with measurement equipment and statistical analysis tools like CMM, GD&T, and FMEA. 
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications. 
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing methodologies. 
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Gantt charts and PERT diagrams.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills, both written and verbal. 
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills. 
• Effective multitasking and time management skills.

Your experience includes:

• Hands-on background of internship projects related to Mechanical Engineering, Quality or relevant fields. 
• Comprehensive knowledge of quality control processes and methodologies. 
• Negotiation abilities and PowerPoint presentations. 
• Accurate data reporting and analysis.
