More about being an IT Business Analyst: 
 
An IT Business Analyst (BA) plays an active part in driving innovative and scalable Products to bring value to business, as well as covering the solution’s lifecycle management to suit respective markets. 
 
This Roche KL IT Graduate Program offers an exciting opportunity to launch your IT career with a structured and supportive learning environment.

Program Duration: 12 months. 

What You Will Do

What your future looks like:

  • You’ll learn how to be a crucial part of the product’s lifecycle management and ensure that any solution is chosen to fulfill known and understood business requirements, fitting into the Product roadmap definitions and continuously providing business value over its lifecycle. 
  • You'll have the opportunity to work closely with multiple IT stakeholders (Product Managers, Product Owners, Development Teams) to support decision-making regarding solution options, deliverables, and priorities. 
  • You'll learn how to develop and maintain a business case, and how to optimize business processes across sites and departments. 
  • You will develop Business Analysis expertise, like creating User Stories, Customer Journey Maps, Functional Specification, Acceptance Criteria, etc., that are in line with Roche and the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) standards. 
  • You will learn how to develop soft skills, like Negotiation and Influencing, Conflict Resolution, Analytical Thinking, Customer-centricity, and Impactful Communications that will help you be successful in this role or any other IT-related roles.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Training and Development: Participate in a structured training program that covers fundamental IT concepts, technical skills, and best practices. 
  • Documentation: Maintain organized and accurate documentation of IT assets, configurations, and procedures. 
  • Project Support: Collaborate with experienced IT professionals on real-world projects and initiatives, applying your knowledge and skills to solve practical problems. 
  • Mentorship: Receive mentorship and guidance from senior IT staff to accelerate your professional growth. 
  • Continuous Learning: Proactively seek opportunities for self-improvement and skill development through training, workshops, and online resources. 
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with your fellow trainees and IT team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment. 

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Education: Completed studies as of 1st May 2024 with Bachelor's Degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Bio Tech or any related field OR must have graduated less than 24 months of the application date. 
  • Technical Skills: No prior work experience required. 
  • Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues and end-users. 
  • Enthusiasm: A passion for technology and a desire to learn and grow in the IT field. 
  • Adaptability: Willingness to learn quickly, adapt to new technologies, and embrace challenges. 
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team, share knowledge, and contribute positively to group dynamics. 
  • Initiative: Proactive attitude and a strong drive for self-improvement and career development. 
  • Ethical Behavior: Understanding of the importance of data security and privacy. 
  • Availability: Commitment to the full duration of the Graduate Development Program.
