IT Service Desk - Intern

The Programme 

Are you passionate about technology and eager to kickstart your career in IT?  
 
At Roche, we're looking for an enthusiastic IT Service Desk Intern to provide top-notch support to our end users across various environments, including Windows, Google, and Apple. 
 
As an IT Service Desk Intern, you'll be our frontline hero, tackling a diverse range of software and hardware issues.  
 
Your main responsibilities will include: 

• First-Level Support: Provide assistance for incidents and service requests through multiple channels such as phone, email, chat, and our self-service portal. 
• Software & Hardware Expertise: Help with software installations, configurations, and troubleshooting across various devices (laptops, desktops, tablets, smart devices, printers, and network infrastructure). 
• Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to our Knowledge Database, deliver training sessions, and facilitate forums to share your insights. 
• User Advocacy: Represent our end users, escalate issues when necessary, and ensure they are well-informed and satisfied with their IT experience.
• Shift Flexibility: Work at least 20% of your time on morning or night shifts to support our follow-the-sun model. 

Required Skills and Abilities 

• Current Undergraduate Students: Enrolled in a reputable university in a relevant field of study. 
• Academic Excellence: Demonstrated strong academic performance.
• Availability: Able to commit to a 6-month internship.
