Communications Intern - Design

The Programme

Roche Malaysia (Pharma) is excited to recruit a motivated Communications intern to bring fresh and creative ideas to the table when it comes to engaging our internal stakeholders through a variety of channels.  
 
You will also provide administrative and video editing support to the team for internal & external events. 
 
In the role, externally you will be involved in:

• Women’s Cancer Coalition initiatives. 
• Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE & I) initiatives. 
• Deeptalks (developing videos).

This will involve:

• Be actively involved in the coordination of meetings and media relations activities. 
• Perform other administrative duties as we may need you to do.

In the role, internally you will be involved in:

• Product / Disease Knowledge Awareness Month. 
• Updating the framework for the year and for 2024.

Internal Campaigns:

• Coordinate with pods on their needs for internal campaigns. 
• Come up with new ideas on how to launch an internal campaign. 
• G-site (updating the relevant information, etc.).

This list is not exhaustive and there might be impromptu events.

Required Skills and Abilities

• You hold a Diploma/Degree in Communications, PR, Business Administration or related field 
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia. 
• Proficient in basic computer software/applications and video editing software. 
• Have proudly completed related course work and have put your studies into practice. 
• Enjoy being creative and have had exposure to graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Canva or Illustrator. 
• Have the ability to produce videos in a professional manner. 
• Demonstrate your proven experience working with Microsoft Office products. 
• Work smart by managing multiple priorities with deadlines in a constantly changing environment. 
• Inherently demonstrate a high level of integrity and with an element of trust. 
• Innately demonstrate superior written and verbal communication skills. 
• Work within stipulated tight deadlines.
