Quality Intern

The Programme

PPG is looking for a Quality Intern to join our team at our Petaling Jaya Plant.  
 
This internship program may range from 6 to 12 months depending on different Universities' requirements.  
 
You will work on-site and report directly to the Plant Manager.

What You Will Do

• Perform daily quality control inspections and tests on raw materials and finished products. 
• Provide immediate feedback to the Quality Engineer on any quality issues. 
• Help maintain quality control logs, documentation, and reports. 
• Help with ongoing projects and improvements in the Quality Control Department. 
• Conduct analysis to identify areas for improvement in quality control processes. 
• Help with investigations into customer complaints and product rejections. 
• Follow safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment. 
• Complete any other tasks as directed by the Quality Control Engineer.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Diploma or degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. 
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methods. 
• Familiarity with chemical equipment and measurement concepts. 
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. 
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. 
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
