Embedded Software Engineer Intern - Strong C and modern C++/Java

The Programme

We develop and provide Android and Linux Platform and solutions for MSI two-way radios.  
 
We are also leading and looking into the future viability of new technology, assessing the trends and initiating new solutions and concepts to improve our products to maintain competitiveness.

What You Will Do

• Participate in the design, development, prototyping, testing, troubleshooting 
• Specific duties will be assigned based on the individual's capabilities, experience and education. Examples can include: 
  
  • Have partial to full responsibility for an embedded system. This may include subsystem development, testing, debugging and documentation of a product or part of a product. 
  • Design, specify, build, debug and verify SW.  
  • Troubleshoot existing systems or products and verify and validate results. 
  • Design, document, and execute tests for qualification of products using internal and external testing resources. Write meaningful summaries and interpretations. 
  • Assist engineers with a variety of tasks during the product design and development process. 
  • Create tools or automate to increase engineering Efficiency.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Candidate must be actively pursuing a Bachelor or Master's Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Embedded/Software Engineering/Computer Science. 
• Strong C and modern C++/Java skills and can write clean, modular, and tested code. 
• Experience developing on embedded Linux systems is a plus. 
• Creative problem-solver who digs into root causes analytically, instead of relying on intuition.
