Intern - Process Engineer Yield Improvement

The Programme 

Title: Yield Improvement through Foreign Material reduction. 
 
Description: Support Engineer on Yield Improvement project through Foreign Material (FM) reduction inside the Production Line.

• Failure Analysis. 

What You Will Do 

• Assist in identifying sources of contamination in Production Line in Cleanroom 1 and 2​. 
• Perform simple measurement or optical visual inspection as per request. ​ 
• Support defect failure analysis (EFA) and PFA submission. ​ 
• Assist in identifying potential solutions and validating methods through evaluations​. 
• Perform evaluation run on samples and collect results​. 
• Tabulate and generate charts for analysis and documentation​. 
• Assist in Documentation and Process Control​.
• Performing documentation update in multiple control documents such as SOP, FMEA, & Control Plan. 

Deliverables: ​ 

• Identify at least one (1) NEW source of contamination​. 
• Provide Weekly updates on progress and findings​. 
• To be reviewed on a weekly basis with Workplace Supervisor​. 'Final Report to be compiled for the entire internship duration​. 

Stretched goal: ​ 

• Provide effective solution/method of elimination/reduction for the identified FM​. 
• Measurable through yield improvement%.
