MMP – Tooling Life Span Study – Ejector Needle/ PUT.  

Description 

• Performs hardware, software, semiconductor design or process/development engineering assignments.  

Scope 

• Support engineering evaluations, time studies and simulation on assembly optimization  
• Cost analysis.  
• Process documentation.  
• Capacity utilization analysis.  
• Taking inventory.  
• Materials inspection.  
• Quality control.

• PDE CEM.  
• PDE PIE.  
• PDE Design.  
• PDE IE.  
• PDE KEG.  
• IT Team.  
• MNI PEE. 

What You Will Do

Deliverables 

• Develop solutions as described in the topic.  
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the information required to deliver the comprehensive closure of the topics assigned.  
• Successfully map out gains based on the topics delivered.  

Stretch Goal 

• Comprehensive understanding of the assembly process. 

Required Skills and Abilities

Applicants should be Engineering majors Mechanical, Chemical, Material and Electrical with abilities in MS Office, JMP, AutoCad, MATLAB and other analytical.  
 
They should possess strong analytic and statistical skills and be able to work independently.  
 
Education Requirement: 

• Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Rich understanding physics is preferred.  
• Strong understanding of statistics. 

Preferred Qualifications & Skills: 

• Familiar with SPC, FMEA, DOE, TPM, OCAP, JMP, RCA, Control Plan and Working Instruction  
• The ideal candidate will have strong material science knowledge or knowledge of semiconductor device physics or experience with device processing and integration, test structure definition, design rule generation, DOE, failure analysis, and device characterization is preferred.
