Why does this job exist and why is it critical?​

The responsibilities and duties of the Digital Transformation Associate are to support and partake in major digital transformational programmes launched organization-wide across capability build (Automation, AI/ML, Cloud), customer centricity (Digital Sales/Contact Centre, Digital First Journeys) & culture (Agile, Innovation, Data & Digital Fluency).

The Associate will support the manager to work with Business Owners, Technology team and external industry to identify leading ideas & how they can be applied within Maxis and then support the accountable teams within Maxis in the implementation & roll-out.

The Associate operates as part of a team to drive the overall digital transformation of Maxis. 

What You Will Do

  • Perform research & benchmarking to support the creation of digital transformational plans to the benefit of Maxis, promoting brand equity and achievement of competitive advantage and/or cost reduction and productivity improvement.
  • Support line manager in articulating digital transformation opportunities, define roles and responsibilities, scope of work, measures of success and track the execution of agreed plans with relevant stakeholders.
  • Capability - Democratize automation, advanced analytics, artificial intelligence & machine learning to enable unmatched personalized experience through strategic transformational plans with relevant stakeholders across the organization.
  • Customer - Leverage customer insights through a single source of truth enabling personalization & seamless omnichannel experience. Propagate Digital First sales and service experiences whilst reducing customer friction and effort.
  • Culture - Embed agile and innovation as part of new ways of working. Build employee data and digital competencies, knowledge literacy and fluency.
  • Support project management of assigned digital transformational initiatives in establishing processes for progressive delivery and change management required for ongoing digital transformation. Provide input to process simplification, standardization and re-engineering in support of digitization. 

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field e.g. Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science or Business/Commerce.
  • Fresh graduates or those with 1-2 years working experience in a service-related industry in the domain of Digital or Change Management.
  • Personal traits - Self-starter who is goal-oriented, resourceful and have a can-do attitude. Positive, Passionate, Collaborative. Team player and ability to adapt and be flexible in a fast-paced environment.
