Insurance Broking/Consulting Internship - Actuary/Finance

The Programme

Marsh Insurance Brokers (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Penang office:  
 
Insurance Broking/Consulting Internship @ Penang Office (Intake: July/ August/ September 2023).

We will count on you to:

• Provide support in consulting with clients from various backgrounds on service requirements, insurance needs and carriers. 
• Assisting consultants where required while ensuring adherence to policies and procedures as per the organization’s standards and SOPs. 
• Maintains an ongoing relationship with clients and team colleagues to effectively service clients and assist colleagues. 
• Responsible for other special assignments, ad-hoc functions, and related duties specified by superior.

Required Skills and Abilities

What you need to have:

• Bachelor's Degree in any discipline (preferable Human Resource, Psychology, Actuarial, Engineering, Finance) or any equivalent. 
• Internship duration between 3 months - 6 months depending on University's/Institute's requirements. 
• Proficient in using MS Office Application, especially Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. 
• Good communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Strong analytical skills and detail-oriented to comprehend and summarize appropriate information.
