On the job you will:

  • Support project managers in tracking the projects and managing resource allocation to ensure optimal utilization of resources. 
  • Assist in maintaining project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes. 
  • Monitor and update project tracking tools to ensure accurate and real-time project progress reporting. 
  • Engage in data analysis tasks to provide insights into project performance and assist in identifying areas for improvement. 
  • Collaborate with the PMO team to identify and implement process improvement initiatives that enhance project management efficiency. 
  • Work with different departments to ensure seamless collaboration and integration of project activities. 
  • Assist in maintaining positive relationships with project stakeholders through effective communication and responsiveness. 
  • Assist the PMO analyst in driving the PMO Improvement Project, which is targeted to improve the PMO quality assurance processes, Project Accounting Clean up and Standardizing project management standards and best practices.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, and Mathematics. 
  • Ability to work effectively and independently within a dynamic working environment. 
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint 
  • Good interpersonal and communication, analytical skills, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Good command in English and Bahasa Malaysia, oral and written. 
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks, prioritize assignments, and maintain a systematic approach to project documentation. 
  • Thoroughness in completing tasks to ensure accuracy and reliability in project documentation. 
  • Efficiently manage time and meet deadlines for various project-related tasks. 
  • Ability to analyze data and information to support decision-making processes within the PMO. 
  • Apply critical thinking skills to evaluate situations and make informed decisions that contribute to project success.
