The Programme

Using a wide variety of technical and sector-specific skills, KPMG Risk Consulting proactively helps clients in managing reputational, operational, financial and other risks.  

We are experienced in managing diverse issues including fraud, regulatory compliance, risk frameworks and modelling, capital efficiency, corporate governance, dispute resolution, deriving value from contracts and much more.

The Data Privacy team works with clients in managing risks on protection of personal data, compliance with applicable regulatory frameworks and to assist businesses in creating an environment that gives confidence and creates trust in customers and stakeholders at large in the conduct of day-to-day business operations. 

What You Will Do

• Build knowledge and understanding of data privacy and protection laws and regulations.
• Building knowledge and understanding of the high-level technology issues surrounding information security in the processing of personal/client confidential data. 

Required Skills and Abilities

• Degree in IT/Technology related fields, Law or other equivalent fields.
• Able to assimilate new knowledge.
• Ability to work as a team in providing Privacy advice and undertaking Privacy advisory work including compliance and gap assessment, privacy impact assessment, personal data inventories and data flow mapping.
• Proven ability to analyze problems, identify core issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Good communication skills (both oral and written) and interactional skills at various levels.
