Our Apprenticeship program is specifically designed to blend hands-on experience with relevant training to enhance your job competency. As part of the Firm’s talent development program, we are committed to investing in automation technology training for our apprentices to achieve the necessary accreditations. 
 
Your mission is to analyze business processes and identify opportunities for automation by means of automation technologies. Our Apprenticeship program comes with a unique feature of one-to-one mentorship where you will be guided by an assigned mentor throughout the program.  
 
Upon completion of the program, you'll stand a chance to be offered a permanent role in KPMG Lighthouse.

What You Will Do

This program aims to equip candidates with the necessary skills in the automation space.  
 
At the end of this program, candidates can expect to have technical and functional capabilities which are essential for RPA Developer / Automation Specialist role. 

Some of the focus in this program will be:

• Identify - Analyze business processes and identify potential areas for automation and process optimization. 
• Design & Build - Design Future State process from identification process. Build automation workflows using Microsoft Power Automate Desktop. 
• Implement - Conduct unit and user testing. Identify bugs and perform fixes on the automation program as required. Execute Go-Live. 
• Monitor - Measure automation performance and validate business case. Identify future enhancement and lesson learnt. Produce process & technical documentation.

Required Skills and Abilities

Minimum Requirements:

• Availability of 6 months and above.  
• Bachelor’s degree with – IT related: Computer Science equivalent. 
• Good conceptual knowledge related to automation tools such as UiPath or Power Automate will be an added advantage. 
• Good understanding of the process or workflow-based logic. 
• Strong communication skills and business eccentric. 
• Independent, self-motivated, organized, results oriented, have a teamwork spirit, attention to details, good problem-solving skills, and ability to undertake multiple tasks to meet challenging deadlines. 
• Prior experience or project knowledge related to automation tools will be an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of programming e.g., VB .Net, C#, Python will be a huge plus.
• Comfortable to work with complex business processes.
• Basic knowledge on Adobe PDF and Office 365 such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, MS Power Platform. 
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Good to have:

• Experience in working with one of the programming languages (e.g., VB.net, Python). 
• Experience in working with database and data query language (e.g., SQL). 
• Experience in working with project management methodology concepts.
