Accounts Graduate Trainee - Property Management

The Programme

The Property Management Accounts Graduate Trainee will support the property management team in a variety of areas, including general ledger (GL) management, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), bank reconciliation, and travel to site offices as required.  

This role will provide a comprehensive introduction to the accounting and property management industry and will provide opportunities to gain hands-on experience and knowledge.  

The Graduate Trainee will work closely with experienced professionals to support the company's property management business.  

Rotations will be among the different properties that we are managing from Commercial Buildings (Office or shopping malls) and Stratified Buildings (Residential).  

What You Will Do

  • Assist in general ledger accounts, including recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports for the building / site office.
  • Support the accounts payable process, including processing invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and responding to vendor inquiries.
  • Assist with the accounts receivable process, including preparing invoices, reconciling customer statements, and responding to customer inquiries.
  • Conduct bank reconciliation and assist with cash management activities.
  • Travel to site offices as required to support the property management team and ensure the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their financial and property management needs and requirements.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial reports and presentations. 

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Detail oriented and able to meet the deadline.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proactive and good problem-solving skills.
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel to site offices within Klang Valley.
