Marketing Communications Intern

 The Programme 

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative marketing communications intern to join our diverse, multicultural team in the General Electronics Measurement Group headquartered in Penang, Malaysia.  
 
You will work closely with our program, solution, regional business development, and marketing experts.  
 
You will also assist the team in developing sales tools and marketing collateral to grow the worldwide Education and Research segment business.

Required Skills and Abilities 

• Pursuing a degree in marketing or media and communication studies. 
• Business fluent in English. Strong communication skills in conversation and writing. 
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and video creation tools. 
• Interested in technical marketing. 
• Willingness to work with different time zones occasionally (US and UK). 
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. 
• Creative thinking and coming up with innovative ideas for marketing programs/campaigns.
• Previous working experience in media and communications is advantageous.
