The Client Computing Group (CCG) is responsible for driving business strategy and product development for Intel's PC products and platforms, spanning form factors such as notebooks, desktops, 2 in 1s, all in one. Working with our partners across the industry, we intend to continue to advance PC experiences to deliver the real-world performance people demand.

As the largest business unit at Intel, CCG is investing more heavily in the PC, ramping up its capabilities even more aggressively, and designing the PC experience even more deliberately, including delivering a predictable cadence of leadership products. As a result, we are able to fuel innovation across Intel, providing an important source of IP and scale, as well as help the company deliver on its purpose of enriching the lives of every person on earth. 

What You Will Do 

In this position, you will be responsible for installation, qualification and maintenance of assigned modules or equipment (handler, prober, automation engineering solution, etc.) and provide technical consultant to support product startup and ramp.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Driving resolution through hardware design, materials selection and continuous improvement projects through engineering DOEs, path finding to improve performance of equipment assigned, with respect to safety, quality, run-rate, availability, yield and cost.
  • Participating in development or evaluation of equipment and tooling to meet Module spec and high-volume support needs.
  • Defining or improving process control systems related to module to prevent excursions.
  • Providing training and guidance to the technicians to improve their competency. 

Required Skills and Abilities 

  • Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Electrical / Robotic / Chemical.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Technical knowledge in statistical process control, commonality analysis, design of experiment, failure modes/effects analysis, ISO quality management or PLC programming are added advantages.
