Inside this Business Group:

In the Design Engineering Group (DEG), we take pride in developing the best-in-class SOCs, Cores, and IPs that power Intel’s products. From development, to integration, validation, and manufacturing readiness, our mission is to deliver leadership products through the pursuit of Moore’s Law and groundbreaking innovations. 

DEG is Intel’s engineering group, supplying silicon to business units as well as other engineering teams.  As a critical provider of all Intel products, DEG leadership has a responsibility to ensure the delivery of these products in a cost efficient and effective manner.

What You Will Do 

You will have the opportunity to enrich your experience with Industry Very Large-Scale Integration (VLSI) design and development.

This will include classroom and hands on training from Silicon Design, Integration, test creation and software solutions to validate its functionality in the platform environment. Exposure on usage of simulation tools to perform design simulation and validation of the next generation, deep sub-micron system. 

You will be coached and trained by a lead engineer. 

Required Skills and Abilities 

You must be a full-time student pursuing your Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or relevant course.

A good understanding of basic PC platform architecture, digital logic basics and object-oriented programming as well as UNIX will be an added advantage.
