NEX Boot Firmware Graduate Trainee - Computer Science

The Programme

As a Graduate Trainee, the candidate will be exposed to the low-level boot system + bootloader architecture and learn about how a computer system works. 
 
The candidate will also be mentored by an experienced engineer and will be assigned projects to work on during the 1-yr GT period. 
 
The candidate will be taught about firmware architecture, opportunity for hands-on in platform enabling, understanding of software development best practices and experience the working culture in a dynamic workforce environment.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Bachelor/Master Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Electronic Engineering. 
• Exposure to microcontroller programming e.g. Arduino, micro python, Raspberri Pi Python programming. 
• Exposure to object-oriented programming, graphical UI development. 
• Demonstrate some low-level knowledge in software troubleshooting/debugging skills.
