Manufacturing Training Specialist

The Programme

We are looking for a passionate, positive, highly motivated and dedicated person to join the Kulim Assembly Test Technical Training Team. 
 
The successful candidate will own and manage the technician and engineer training activities, course and content development, certification and documentation of quality systems, specs and new process integration activities. 
 
In addition to that, the candidate will manage an outsourced training model and the dedicated trainers to maintain high quality standard set by the organization.

  • Engaging with key customers on the required training needs - coordinate, standardize, document, control and execute training requests. 
  • Defining, managing, and documenting training curriculum across multiple disciplines, including but not limited to process engineers, process integrators, manufacturing technicians during transfer process, new product introductions and in high volume manufacturing. 
  • Definition and enablement of certification packages, manage manufacturing training certifiers (MTCs) to ensure clear skill requirements for each of the process steps, including equipment and process technicians. This includes ensuring EHS
  • Safety compliance requirements are met. 
  • Course and curriculum development as the organization and technology grows and matures

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or related technical training field, fresh graduates can apply or 1-2 years of semiconductor industry experience. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must to explain complex technical subjects in a clear manner. 
  • Ability to prepare training material (presentations, instruction manuals, lab material). 
  • Ability to execute training sessions, webinars, workshops etc. 
  • Willingness to work in a team environment with minimal supervision 
  • Self-motivation and eagerness to learn and teach innovative products and solutions. 
  • Detail Orientation; Solving complex problems in a demanding environment. 
  • Self-starter takes initiative and possesses leadership skills in an ambiguous environment. 
  • Able to create Microsoft 365 tools like power automate and power bi.
