What You Will Do

Graduate trainee is a unique opportunity to put your studies to practical experience in system engineering of cutting-edge enterprise technologies.  

In this period, you will get real world experience with ownership of projects from day one as well as the opportunity to develop a network of contacts for your future. You will gain a deep understanding of design development and integration of complex systems, then deploy and distribute the solution to support Intel's business needs.  

The Intel Information Technology group is seeking graduate trainee candidate to work in a challenging and dynamic environment with good understanding in Unix and Linux environment. Hands-on scripting skill either in PERL, Shell, Python are added advantages.  

As trainee, your responsibilities may include managing and administrating the servers to maintain tip-top performance thru pro-active indication from the alerts / monitoring; Providing operational support to the user's requests and incidents; deploying Design Data Management tool solutions to enable the design flow of various chip design projects; managing applications life cycle to maintain security compliance. Opportunistically, develop and implement innovative solution. 

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science/Engineering or any related fields.
  • Major in Software engineering / development is preferred.
  • Passion for Learning Information Technology in general.
  • Interest in working in a highly dynamic environment.
  • Good understanding in Unix and Linux environment.
  • Hands-on programming and/or scripting skill either in PERL, Shell, Python are added advantages.
