Integrated Circuit - IC - Computer Science - Design Graduate Trainee

The Programme

In this position, the candidate will have the opportunity to develop and learn the critical skillsets for advanced integrated circuit (IC) design through the implementation of complex design blocks such as microprocessor and digital signal process (DSP) cores on advanced process technology.  
 
The candidate will have the opportunity to learn and use state-of-the-art electronic design automation (EDA) tools to perform important IC design tasks such as synthesis, floor planning, clock tree design, placement, routing and extraction.  
 
While implementing these complex design blocks, the candidate will also have the opportunity to perform power, performance and area study and learn the techniques for doing trade-off among these important design metrics for IC.  
 
Apart from technical design skills, the candidate will also develop strong problem solving, creativity and communication skills through this position.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Bachelor or master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related engineering fields.  
• Fundamental knowledge on Unix.  
• Basic knowledge and experience in programming or scripting languages. 
• Ability to work effectively with global teams in a variety of geographies.
