EC Graduate Trainee

What You Will Do

• Working on Engineering Computing Windows Server, Web and Database to support Platform Solutions Windows environment.  
• Providing operational support to Engineering Computing design customers (incidents, service requests).  
• Assisting with execution of various technical global projects.  
• Data analysis to drive optimization of the support model and/or process improvements.  
• Troubleshoot technical issues (Windows Server, MSSQL databases, IIS web hosting, Hyper-V Virtualization, Storage).  
• Writing documentation (step by step instructions, flow diagrams).

Required Skills and Abilities

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.  
• Passionate about learning Information Technology in general.  
• Interest in working in a highly dynamic environment ensuring stability, availability and security of Windows Server infrastructure.  
• Understand and follow instructions and procedures.  
• Customer service skills related to providing IT support. System and/or Windows Server Administration experience is a plus.  
• Familiarity with Microsoft System Center tools (SCOM, SCCM, Orchestrator, Virtual Machine Manager), PowerBI is a plus.
• Azure Automation and PowerShell scripting experience is a plus. Certification in one of the programming languages.  
• Hands on experience in writing basic scripts (PERL or Python or both).  
• Experience listed would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Intel's Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel.  
 
This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services. 
 
Working Model - This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
