International Graduate Program - Trainee IT OneSAP PPM

The Programme

Joining the IGP will get you full insight into Infineon: over the course of 18 months, you will have at least three different assignments – one of them abroad.  
 
You will meet the global IGP community in global, regional and virtual conferences. You will get feedback after each assignment, a mentor who gives career advice.  
 
And if that isn’t enough, you will have permanent employee status from the start. 
 
As an IGP Trainee within our Information Technology (IT) department you will explore a fantastic journey within our organization. You will collaborate with your colleagues from IT, the business and external partners.  
 
You will learn how globally organized teams interact and actively contribute to design, build and run state-of-the-art IT solutions in an agile environment. 
 
Your program consists of the following elements:

• Get acquainted with the general topics and key aspects of the department where the assignment takes place. 
• Develop a broader technical experience with the objective of recognizing and comprehending the interactions. 
• Analyze and structure given business tasks (e.g. processes/structures, technical optimization) and provide solution proposals (e.g. lean and efficient process flows). 
• Co-operate in the daily business and collect practical experience. 
• Contribute by personal input, e.g. provide own suggestions, ideas, new ways of approaches. 
• Support the business in creating concepts and problem-solving proposals and align this with the responsible interfaces.  
• Responsible for defined (sub-)projects and tasks. 
• Apply existing methods and competencies according to the respective tasks and develop these further. 
• Learn and apply (lean-)management and project management methods during (global) IGP-Projects. 
• Develop own personal network within Infineon. 
• Take an active role in the IGP network by attending program events as well as specific IGP trainings. 
• Involve in the document accomplishments and make formal presentation to project team and other IGPs at each project completion.

Required Skills and Abilities

You make the impossible possible. You don’t wait for the silver platter. You love change (which is guaranteed in the semiconductor industry).  
 
You are pragmatic and analytic (we need both at Infineon). Standing still is not your thing and you find inspiration in working on the big picture with your colleagues. 
 
Plus, you fulfill the following qualifications:

• A degree in Information Technology / Computer Science or any equivalent course. 
• Demonstrated your leadership skills, for example at university, during internships or during other extracurricular activities. 
• You are familiar with programming and can use standard back-office software like Excel, Word and PowerPoint. 
• Already gained first international experience during your academic program through internships or a semester abroad (minimum 3 months). 
• Fluent in English with good communication and presentation skills (German as a plus).
