Executive - Treasury Processing

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Executive to join our Treasury Processing team.  
 
You will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of Forex, Derivatives, FCY Money Market, and Fixed Income transactions. 
 
If you possess a strong understanding of treasury operations and have a keen eye for detail, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.  
 
This role reports to the team lead and the successful candidates will be based in the Hong Leong Tower, Damansara office.

What You Will Do

Processing and Authorization:

• Process and verification of Forex, Derivatives and Equity transactions with high accuracy and within cut off time. 
• Process and support branches for Foreign Exchange Forward contract. 
• Ensure all transactions are processed accurately and in compliance with regulatory and internal guidelines.

Reconciliation:

• Monitor and reconcile trades in Murex against third party/independent confirmation. 
• Perform reconciliation of payments between the treasury system and SWIFT to ensure accurate and timely payments. 
• Reconcile outstanding nostro items related to treasury transactions. 
• Conduct reconciliation of Futures and equity products.

Reporting:

• Prepare regulatory reports in accordance with applicable regulations. 
• Extract forex reports on a daily, monthly, and ad-hoc basis. 
• Generate Statsmart reports for treasury transactions.

Other Operational Tasks:

• Prepare audit confirmation letters as per auditor requests. 
• Maintain proper filing and organization of documents. 
• Participate in testing new products to support business growth.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Malaysian citizen   
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Economics/Banking/Business or equivalent. 
• 1 year or above related experience of Treasury Operations. 
• Fresh graduates are invited to apply for this role as training will be provided.

Experience & Skillset:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
• PC literate with knowledge in Microsoft Office Appliances. 
• Strong team spirit player with a positive attitude and having the drive to improve processes.
