Data Science Track:
You will learn how to work with businesses to define a problem, set the scope of the project, and define the success metrics of the data science project.
You should enjoy working with data, such as data cleaning, exploration, and visualization, to name a few. You should also appreciate dealing with non-technical audiences, manage their expectations and guide them on the necessary technical details.
Machine Learning Track:
You will learn how to work with various machine learning models, supervised or unsupervised, and neural networks.
You should enjoy coding and numerical analysis, such as Python programming, hyperparameter tuning and optimization. You should also appreciate the rather dull but important documentation tasks, create monitoring and maintenance plans for reproducibility.
Data Engineering Track:
You will learn how to deploy the models developed to production, set up batch prediction jobs and create APIs for user consumption.
You should enjoy working with cloud technologies and software architecture, such as serverless, API management and model performance monitoring. You should also appreciate the need to automate system/application tasks and setup triggers/alert functions using various monitoring tools.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree holder in quantitative fields, including but not limited to Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering.
