Manufacturing Technology Engineering - MTE Intern

The Programme

The Internship Program offers a hands-on internship for students who are interested in working in a manufacturing environment.  
 
This program targets students enrolled in programs that relate to the field of Engineering. 
 
This position is a training position, under the guidance and control of the Maintenance Coordinator. 
 
Experience is gained in the use of Engineering Tools and Methods used in optimizing the manufacturing processes and reducing costs. 
 
Analysis of production, Lean manufacturing methods, Systematic Problem-Solving tools etc. will be used to acquaint the trainee with the tools and methods used in optimizing manufacturing processes. 
 
Intern will be assigned to a project in their department on which they are evaluated. In addition, they will support and assist the Maintenance Coordinator on other daily tasks and projects.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Candidates must be enrolled in a degree, diploma or certificate program in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field. 
• Minimum GPA of 2.8. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Candidates need to attach their internship letter from their university and indicate their internship period.
