Job Purpose and Impact:

The Management Trainee will help to support the marketing activities to grow the Aquaculture business, this include participate in face-to- face and remote selling to our new and existing customers, selling directly or indirectly through various sales channels.

We seek a results-oriented professional who, with guidance, will help assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services and solutions. 

What You Will Do

  • Execute business development plans, customer development and growth strategies for new and existing offerings.
  • Identify new prospective customers and quality new sales opportunities.
  • Manage customer relationship and handle & solve customer complaints.
  • Gather market intelligence (local prices, competition, players, etc.).
  • Extend technical activity support as and when required. Collect Proof of Performance (POP) data from customer.
  • Prepare reports as require.
  • Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Graduate/ Bachelor Degree in Aquaculture or related study.
  • One year of progressive external sales and business development with a good track record and experience in Aquaculture industry. Fresh graduates from Aquaculture background that has passionate in commercial & sales are encourage to apply.
  • Good understanding of Key Account Management, including good prospecting and closing skills.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills. 
  • Good communication skills and able to communicate in both Mandarin & English.
  • Familiar with concepts, practices and procedures within business to business sales, preferably in Aquaculture feed selling.
  • Willing to travel around Malaysia and must possess valid driving license.

Preferred Qualification:

  • Knowledge and experience with Aquaculture.
