Intern - Production Process and Control

The Programme

As part of the Engineering & Production team, you will be reporting to Manager and support day to day activity (documentation and on-site) for Production department Polymer Dispersion Plant, the task will be focused on Engineering, Production, Polymers, Safety and Quality point of view.

What You Will Do

  • Revising/Reviewing Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment for Polyline 1 and 2 
  • Revising/Reviewing Operating procedure, Work Instructions & Work Specific Procedures as per current routine task for Polyline 1 and 2 
  • Identify and execute for completion of Line labels/Equipment tagging labels. 
  • To check and create attachments/ documents as per Management of Change (MOC) requirement. 
  • To help with P&ID review for Polyline 1 and 2 and help to coordinate the changes with drafter. 
  • To help with 5S initiatives for plant.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Commitment to minimum 5-month full-time internship.  
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree/Diploma in Chemical/Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or any related disciplines. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc. 
  • Able to work independently.  
  • Possess own transport, willing to work at Pasir Gudang, Johor.
