This is our digital VISION for BASF. Global Digital Services (GDS) is supporting BASF business in Digitalization transformation. Our MISSION is to drive forward the digital transformation of BASF, providing innovative, global and high-quality digital products and services through a strong agile culture. Part of the GDS strategy, BASF Shared Services Center Kuala Lumpur (BSSCKL) is one of the established Digital Hub for APAC region.  
 
As part of the Mobile Solutions team, you will be developing mobile applications for internal customers, supporting team initiatives and operations. Do you want to be part of a young, agile and pragmatic global team?  
 
If yes, then we would love to get to know you. You will be matched with a Senior engineer to mentor you throughout your internship.

What You Will Do

• Support BASF’s Digital roadmap by developing mobile apps, using agile ways of working in a DevOps approach. 
• Engage, enable and collaborate with our internal customers in the development process.  
• Review current processes and identify opportunities for improvement. 
• Support our internal customers by providing a solution that is suited to their use cases.

Required Skills and Abilities

Education

• Pursuing a Degree in Computer Science or in a comparable field. 
• Able to commit to a 3–6-month full-time internship from December 2023.

Technical & Professional Knowledge

• General understanding of agile methodologies and ability to organize work independently. 
• Has general mobile apps coding skills. 
• Candidate should feel at home in IDEs like Android Studio and VS Code and is able to integrate their code in our GIT environment. 
• A growth mindset with a curiosity to learn and improve. 
• Team player with strong interpersonal, written, and verbal English communication skills. 
• Able to work in a multicultural team spread across the globe. 
• Strong Digital mindset to accelerate BASF Digitalization transformation journey.
