BASF (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd was incorporated in 1989 with its head office at Bukit Jelutong in Shah Alam, and operates manufacturing plants in Bukit Raja in Selangor and Pasir Gudang in Johor, as well as an operational site in Kulim, Kedah.

What You Will Do

To learn, support and carry out laboratory testing and other tasks in accordance with the safety and operational requirement under the supervision of Manager, Quality Assurance. 

  • Assist daily operation of lab testing.
  • Set up lab testing with different methods (e.g. ASTM, ISO).
  • Create or improve the lab testing process where applicable.
  • Conduct experiment and data analysis/ interpretation.
  • Support on-going projects or reporting tasks as and when required.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Commitment to minimum 4 to 6-month full-time internship from March 2020 onwards.
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Material Science or any related disciplines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
