HR Services -Talent- Psychology - Analyst - 6 Months Contract

The Programme

Objectives of the Position:

  • Seek to understand business needs and provide support to a range of HR processes and programs within talent acquisition, talent management and mobility. 
  • Offer day-to-day support to service recipients on HR inquiries, work collaboratively with others and perform research on market insights and talent acquisition to provide resolutions. 
  • Participate process improvements, automation, and digitalization measures to offer best service delivery experience

What You Will Do

Operational Excellence:

  • Ensure data quality and data integrity for talent acquisition, talent management and mobility. 
  • Manage and execute all activities related to the hiring and administration of leasing and fixed term contractors including recruitment, liaison with agencies, extension/ conversion cases via multiple channels to address business needs. 
  • Manage entire transfer process workflow under the talent movement cycle from talent mapping, salary proposals, letters generation, system updates to record management i.e., promotions, demotions, lateral transfers within legal entity and inter-company transfer. 
  • Responsible for internship management and management trainee program, including the sourcing, assessment, onboarding of interns, development programs, documentation preparations etc. 
  • Support the delivery of learning and development programs and administration i.e., delivering learning activities, liaising with external certification authorities/trainers, evaluating learning content and program effectiveness etc. Execute all learning & development administrations on learning records maintenance, government training subsidies, course progress monitoring and tracking, external training accreditations/ certifications, event management etc. 
  • Administer mobility benefits handling for delegates on both allowances and non-monetary support such as dependents schooling, housing arrangement, insurance activities, relocation services and delegates record management. Coordinate and monitor travel requests and costs on different occasions. 
  • Work with key business stakeholders on diagnostic, design and development of organization management, suggesting appropriate changes to meet business needs. Execute changes in HR systems in maintaining the right organization structure, positions, jobs, locations, cost center assignments and reporting lines. 
  • Responds to recurring or ad-hoc business needs to design and to deliver country specific or customized reports which could not be auto-generated by the analytics/reporting systems. 
  • Work closely with other teams and external service providers to ensure all service requests are completed accurately and timely.

Process Improvement and Project Initiatives:

  • Continuously review and maintain knowledge documents in areas of expertise to develop the formation of competence hub. 
  • Identify opportunities, prepare business cases, and participate in digitalization and process optimization. Support the implementation of process improvements, automation and digitalization measures which will be rolled out predominantly in the GB KL Hub for achieving the efficiency target. 
  • Drive initiatives which contribute to the improvement of service experience 
  • Identify deviations from the established blueprints of multiple system processors in talent acquisition, talent management and mobility processes and escalate to team leads in ensuring the capturing of business requirements, system settings, configuration needs and change trackers. Provide inputs and participate in user acceptance testing in system maintenance and upgrade, follow up and escalate timely with respective party to ensure fixes or changes can be delivered on time.

  • Assist in orientation training and act as buddy to new team members. 

Required Skills and Abilities

Education:        

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications: Degree in Human Resources or Psychology.

Working Experience:     

  • With 1 - 2 years of related HR working experience in Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development and Mobility. 
  • Experience in relevant talent/mobility procedures, practices and country statutory. 
  • Working knowledge of integrated talent systems preferably on Taleo, Success Factors etc.

Technical & Professional Knowledge:     

  • Demonstrates a good level of proficiency in language and culture of the supported country/location. 
  • Understanding of HR principals and/or Employee Laws of the supported country/location. 
  • Strong people skills and influential abilities. 
  • Service mindset with strong interpersonal and communications skills. 
  • Functional knowledge and skills in using Microsoft application i.e., Words, Excel, Power Point.
