Intern - Communications

What You Will Do

• To assist primarily in the external communications for the Chinese Business. You will also work with the other team members within the communications team to coordinate and execute integrated external communications plans for other businesses when needed. 
• You will work on communications materials including press releases, speeches and other press/customer/social media related documents. 
• You will assist in the coordination of events to optimize the media exposure such as press conferences, roundtables, talent and spokesperson interview opportunities.  
• Regular compilation of media monitoring and analysis, assist in evaluating media effectiveness via measurement of media value, and updating of the media landscape.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Strong written & spoken Mandarin.  
• Able to write press releases in Chinese. Must also be fluent in English for translations. 
• Good copywriting skills for postings on Astro related online communities. 
• Independent and able to work with minimal supervision. 
• Interest in local Chinese Entertainment. 
• Basic skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
