Associate -Communications & Employee Engagement- Communications

The Programme

Our Associate for Communications & Employee Engagement, will work on the following initiatives:

  • Support Assistant Vice President for Communications and Employee Engagement, on any company wide employee engagement activities. 
  • Plan and execute monthly leadership engagement meetups. 
  • Execute companywide town halls and Astro Leads ++ Meetings for leaders. 
  • Execute internal employee recognition activities on a quarterly basis - including mechanics and identifying winners. 
  • Be the go-to person for companywide Internal Comms, manage Internal Comms calendar and website content. This includes writing content, reviewing/editing comms and designing visuals for comms. 
  • Regular maintenance of HR Portal contents using SharePoint - work with different HR teams to update content on a regular basis. 
  • Oversee and curate Employer Branding postings on social media - Linkedin, Instagram - at least 1x/week. This includes posting writes and curating media (photos/videos/design visuals) 
  • Oversee Employer Branding photoshoots and videos shoots - for social content creation and talent branding. 
  • Own Astro Career Website branding and content refresh. 
  • Work on Culture related Employee Engagement initiatives.

Required Skills and Abilities

The Associate for Communications & Employee Engagement that we are looking for: 

  • Preferable to have a degree in Marketing, Business or Communications. However, if you have a different degree but have the skills we are looking for, you are also encouraged to apply. 
  • Have at least 2 years working experience in Event Planning, Project Management, Communications and/or Employee Engagement. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply and will be considered. 
  • Have interest in or have some experience in managing projects in university and/or in previous job. 
  • Must have good speaking and writing skills in English. Ability to demonstrate some creative writing skills in English is also a must have. 
  • Must have some creative media and visual design experience using Canva or Adobe tools. 
  • The ability to shoot, edit videos and take photographs will be an added advantage. 
  • Capable of managing multiple programs and activities simultaneously. 
  • Have a strong sense of teamwork. Able to communicate with people at various seniority levels and work together in a project or team environment\. 
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook and MS PowerPoint.
