The Programme

As a Technical Intern, you will become an integral part of the technical team that offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in manufacturing process learning, handling laboratory experiments and mini projects.  
 
The intern will work closely with technicians and technical staff to assist them in carrying out laboratory activities and projects, learn on the manufacturing process and steps.  
 
This internship is designed to provide the intern with a comprehensive learning experience while allowing them to apply technical and theoretical knowledge in a practical setting.

What You Will Do

  • Laboratory work: Carry out laboratory tests, following established SOP, on raw materials, dipping solutions and finished products and relevant work as per project protocol/ad hoc testing. 
  • Data Analysis: Perform data collection, analysis and visualization to draw meaningful insights from technical experiments or datasets. 
  • Technical/Research Support: Assist Technical team members as and when required during laboratory experiment, plant trial or validation period. 
  • Project Support: Assist in the development and implementation of technical projects, under the guidance of technical specialist. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with technicians and technical specialists on experiment and monitoring studies (laboratory or manufacturing area) to contribute to the success of ongoing projects and daily troubleshooting tasks. 
  • Documentation: Plan, execute and document results of tests and analysis, producing test reports whenever necessary. 
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and ensure maintenance of housekeeping standards in the laboratory environment, compliance with the company’s GMP, hygiene rules and other dos and don’ts. 
  • Mentorship: Receive guidance from experienced professionals and mentors within the organization. 
  • Others: To obey Company rules and regulations, disciplinary procedures and any general instructions issued by management from time to time.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Pursuing a degree in a relevant field such as Chemistry, Polymer, or a related discipline. 
  • Having knowledge and experience in handling analytical instrument (Surface tensiometer, Tensometer, FTIR, Profilometer) is a plus. 
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft office tools. 
  • Basic understanding of statistical concepts and data analysis techniques. 
  • Excellent communication skills to convey findings and insights effectively. 
  • Self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Duration and Compensation:

  • The internship is typically for a fixed period (e.g., 3 to 6 months) and may be full-time or part-time, depending on the company's needs and the intern's availability.
