The Programme

Quality Assurance under AirAsia’s Santan upholds the high standards of quality and excellence associated with our in-flight experience.  
 
Your role involves ensuring the accuracy and integrity of stock levels, particularly during opening and closing procedures for carts.  
 
This process involves meticulously checking items received, stored and dispatched against documented records, identifying any discrepancies or errors, and promptly resolving them.  
 
Adding to that, this role is to monitor the production processes to identify any deviations or risks and implement corrective actions to address issues promptly. 
 
WHERE YOU’LL GO:

Based on your performance and contribution to this role, you’ll grow into a permanent role as an Executive, Quality Assurance.  
 
In this role, you’ll be able to grow internally and subsequently will step up to a senior role.

What You Will Do

  • Conduct quality inspections of products in the in-flight cart upon return to the warehouse. 
  • Examining the items that are returned from the aircraft to the warehouse to ensure they meet quality standards. 
  • Perform regular checks to identify any discrepancies, allowing for timely correction and preventing potential losses or errors in inventory management. 
  • Investigate the reasons behind the discrepancies, correct any errors, and document the findings for further analysis and improvement. 
  • Compile and present data into a report form on reconciliation checks for review by management. 
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to address quality issues and implement corrective actions such as retraining employees, improving packaging procedures, or adjusting inventory handling processes. 
  • Maintain accurate records of inspection findings and reconciliation results. 
  • Track progress over time and demonstrate compliance with regulatory requirements. 
  • Follow established company policies and industry regulations governing product handling, storage, and distribution to protect both employees and consumers.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Pursuing or recently completed a Degree in Logistics or relevant degrees. 
  • Have good proficiency skills in Excel/Google Sheets and statistical analysis tools. 
  • Possess analytical skills and strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data collection and analysis. 
  • Good verbal and written communication skills to present findings and collaborate effectively with team members. 
  • Problem-Solving Abilities. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently. 
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new methodologies or software.
