Flight Operations Intern

The Programme

We're seeking a highly motivated Operations Intern to join our AirAsia Flight Operations Team.  
 
As the ideal candidate, you should have a fundamental understanding of business operations and administration. You will work closely with our team, gaining exposure to assisting to execute effective training plans for the Flight Operations team.

Please note this position will be based at RedQ, KLIA2.

What You Will Do

  • Responsible for the scheduling, tracking, monitoring and to ensure the training programs as described in the OM-D are performed and recorded as per prescribed. 
  • Administers training nominations, training registration and logistics. 
  • Ensure that the Examiners perform and record the checks as prescribed. 
  • Responsible for storage and safekeeping of the training and check records. 
  • Ensure that the training roster is monitored to ensure compliance and efficiency. 
  • Corresponding with AACE (or other Training Institutions conducting training on behalf of AirAsia) with regards to Training matters.
  • Monitoring the training invoices issued by the training vendors. 
  • Attend and/or organize the Sectional meetings in the absence of the CPTS. 
  • Keep abreast of the most up to date regulatory requirements in order to advise the CPTS to ensure compliance. 
  • Liaise with concerned Sections regarding Training issues, materials, solves issues and problems. 
  • Supervise ground training records and their maintenance. 
  • Ensuring course attendance of designated trainees and monitoring of their progress. 
  • Ensure all Training aids (training forms, booklets, etc.) are updated, maintained and operational. 
  • Provide administrative support to the instructors. 
  • Act as a focal point of communication in the absence of CPTS. 
  • Such other tasks as may be required and duly notified by the CPTS.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Good IT skills in Microsoft Excel, Words, PowerPoint. 
  • Organized and detail orientated with good analytical skills. 
  • Administrations skills. 
  • Budgeting skills. 
  • Problem solving skills and multitasking person. 
  • Possess a positive attitude with the natural ability to provide excellent service working within a team environment and dealing with people from all cultures. 
  • Ability to work under pressure, juggle and prioritize multiple tasks.
