Finance Associate - Accounts Payable

The Programme

In this position, you will be attached to the Invoice Processing Team of the Accounts Payable department. 
 
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Responsible for processing invoices for Asia Pacific countries and ensuring compliance with business controls, SOX, policies, procedures and processes. 
• Responsible as a helpdesk agent and engage in resolution of problems & helpdesk issues with requestors and vendors. 
• Possess strong analytical mindset in performing sample checking and verification on employees' expense reports and receipts to ensure compliance to Agilent's business controls, policies, procedures, processes and local country tax requirement. 
• Able to communicate and attend to vendor and employee calls and emails. 
• Engage in ad-hoc projects and tasks such as continuous Process Improvements and new system/process implementation. 
• Handle any ad-hoc tasks assigned by supervisor/manager on a timely basis.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or equivalent Professional qualification. 
• 1-2 years relevant experience.  
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and drive results together with other team members. 
• Self-starter, flexible and ability to meet tight deadlines. 
• Knowledge of SAP would be an added advantage. 
• Ability to read and write in Japanese language will be added advantage.
